Small Groups

A sense of belonging is getting more and more difficult to attain. Holy Cross wants to help people belong in a community of folks who care about them. Being a part of small group facilitates that sense. 

We have all sorts of groups –

                     those who meet to socialize with old and new friends,

                     those who meet to discuss the Word,

                     those who gather to serve,

                     those who do all of them.

Listed below are groups which might fit you and your schedule. Also note that new groups can be started according to needs and interests. General Groups

• Dual Career Parents- Robert and Kelleen Cheyne This group meets for study, discussion of a variety of relevant topics, and fellowship.   • Parkeleo Community- Led by Jim Rogers this group sings, eats, learns and prays together. Single or couples, young or old, new or mature Christian, all are welcome.   • Families of Faith- For families of young children. The adults gather for Bible Study and they  also have monthly social activities which include the kids. Men

• God's Men meetsTuesdays, 7:30 p.m.  at Holy Cross and  Thursdays at 7:00 p.m. at Rudy’s Barbeque.  We are currently discussing the Bible readings used in worship the following Sunday to better prepare ourselves for worship. Come on Tuesday for coffee/refrreshments or Thursdays for a fuller meal.  In either case join  us to eat together, spend time with friends and be fed on the Word.
• EarlyBird   This group meets the second and fourth Saturdays of every month at 7:00 a.m. at Rudy's on Harvey Rd. in College Station for breakfast tacos and talk and study.  As you might guess, this is a very informal group of guys.

Women

• Wednesday Women in the Word- meets every Wed. at 9:30 a.m.  We are studying LifeLight Foundations: Prophecy.  Prophecy examines Old Testament promises and the fulfillment of those promises in the New Testament, the School of Prophets, the end of the world, and much more.  Come join a great group of women who love each other, love to study the Word of God, and love to celebrate special events.  For more information, call Linda Bullard at 979-690-6629. • Young Women Evening Bible Study- This is group meets Thursday evenings, 6:30 at Holy Cross.  This is for every young at heart lady  to fellowship with new Christians, seekers and seasoned believers .  This Fall they are focusing on a Beth Moore study of Revelation.  Come prepared to learn and share.
