We are very proud and pleased to have this wonderful staff at Holy Cross Lutheran Learning Center. The teachers are dedicated, hard working, and have a sincere love of teaching children. Our teachers are dedicated, hard working, and have a sincere love of teaching children. Our teachers are degreed teachers and/or have many years of experience with children of all ages. They love their Lord and share this love with the children on a daily basis.  Debbie Sadler is the Director of Holy Cross Lutheran Learning Center since August, 2004. Before moving to College Station, she was the director for the preschool and child care center at Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Corpus Christi. Debbie comes to us with years of experience in this field.
 Jillian Moore joins us for her second year as one of our three year old class teachers. She has experience in the public schools. She also is currently active as a volunteer with all ages at her church. Jillian has been a stay-at-home mom to daughter Zoe before before returning to teaching. Rebecca Bardenhagen teaches one of our 3 year old classes and this is her fourth year here at Holy Cross. Rebecca has a Master’s Degree in Educational Psychology. Before moving to Texas she taught first grade in a Lutheran school and second grade in a public school. She is the mother of their three children.
 Michelle Hafer is the teacher of one of our 3 year old classes. Michelle has been at Holy Cross Learning Center for eleven years and has taught 18 month olds through the 4 year olds. Before teaching at our preschool, Michelle taught in the public schools. She is married to Pastor Mike Hafer and they have two children.
 Kim Dikes will be one of the teachers for the 4 year old Pre-K classes. This is Kim’s fourth year at our preschool and has taught first grade in the public school. Kim enjoys being the mom of four boys.
 Marie O'Neill is one of our teachers for the 4 year old Pre-K classes. She has taught kindergarten and before coming to Holy Cross, Marie taught second grade in Houston. This will be Marie’s seventh year at our school. She will teach the class on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday in order to give her more “mommy” time with her two children.
 Betty Moerbe will be team-teaching with Mrs. O’Neill and will have the class on Tuesday and Thursdays. This is Betty’s sixth year at our school and she has many years of experience as a preschool teacher. She has three grown children and two precious grandchildren.
 Leisha Miller is our Early Bird teacher, she is our floater and our "whatever we need at the time" person. This is her fourth year of being with us and she is a terrific help to the teachers and the overall program. Leisha is a mom of their two daughters.  Julie Stipe returns again this year as the teacher’s aid in the Two Year Olds classes. We are grateful for her willingness to help wherever she is needed and her gentle manner with the children. Julie is the mom to their two children.
 Jessica Albers will be a team teacher with Lisa Olivieri in one of our 2 year old classes. Jessica returns to our staff after taking off to be a full time mom to their son, Ethan. Jessica will be the teacher on Tuesday and Thursday mornings and will assist Lisa on Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays. Jessica will also be our Music Teacher for all the classes.  Johnny Penson has been our faithful volunteer since 2002 and will again help out in Mrs. Michelle’s room. John loves children and loves to give a helping hand where he is needed. We are thankful for the time and talent he shares with us.

Cheryl Zerbe is the teacher of one of our 2 year old classes and it is her third year at Holy Crosss. Before moving to College Station, Cheryl was a preschool teacher at Redeemer Lutheran in Austin for seven years. She comes to us with lots of experience and enthusiasm. She is mom to their daughter Caroline.
